Loeb & Loeb Represents JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York's Biggest Office Lease of 2010

NEW YORK - Loeb & Loeb LLP real estate practice partner Scott Schneider represented JPMorgan Chase Bank as sublandlord in its agreement with Société Générale, for the French bank to take approximately 445,000 square feet of office space at 245 Park Avenue. The deal is the biggest New York office lease by number of square feet this year, according to real estate data service CoStar Group, Inc.

Société Générale's ten-year sublease from JPMorgan covers nine floors of the 46-story office tower located a few blocks north of Grand Central Terminal in New York. The deal was coupled with a ten-year direct lease for such space between Brookfield Financial Properties and Société Générale. The sublease is the latest of a number of substantial real estate transactions handled by Loeb & Loeb for JPMorgan Chase Bank this year.
