Represent Old Republic National Title Insurance Company’s insured in its development and construction of a significant project in the South Bronx pursuant to an Urban Renewal Plan adopted by New York City. The construction of our client’s project was halted by an injunction procured by the adjoining property owner who claimed title to a portion of the property through adverse possession. By proving that the property had been dedicated by New York City for urban renewal development purposes in the early 1970s, and was therefore immune from any adverse possession claim, Loeb & Loeb was able to have the injunction vacated.
