Cassie Vertovec

As Loeb & Loeb’s Chief Practice Management Officer, Cassie Vertovec partners closely with firm and department leadership to advance the firm’s operational infrastructure and support the continued growth of its practices.

Cassie focuses on aligning strategic objectives, enhancing cross-practice collaboration and identifying opportunities to further refine the firm’s approach to legal service delivery. She brings a solutions-driven mindset to her role, expanding on the firm’s established structures and implementing new strategies to help its practices work more efficiently and effectively.

With nearly two decades of experience at Am Law 100 firms, Cassie has experience leading a wide range of functions, including practice management, legal project management, pricing, data analytics, knowledge management, innovation, technology solutions, process improvement and change management. She works extensively with firm leadership to develop management frameworks, streamline workflows, improve staffing and work allocation processes, and support strategic planning across departments.

Prior to joining the firm, Cassie built and led high-performing practice management and legal operations functions at four Am Law 100 firms, where she served as a key partner to firm leadership on strategy and execution. Her work included developing and operationalizing department- and practice-level strategic plans; designing staffing, workload allocation and productivity management systems; creating frameworks for matter management and financial analysis; and driving initiatives focused on process improvement, innovation and attorney integration. 

Cassie is a regular speaker at conferences and industry forums, where she shares insights on practice management, legal project management, innovation and the evolving landscape of legal operations.
