Bryant Park Grill Faces Eviction After Court Ruling

Loeb & Loeb Litigation partner Gil Feder is quoted in Crain’s New York Business and the New York Post regarding the ongoing legal dispute surrounding Bryant Park Grill and the Bryant Park Corporation’s efforts to regain control of the restaurant space following the expiration of the operator’s lease. Gil and the Loeb team represent Bryant Park Corporation in the dispute.

The articles examine a recent New York State Supreme Court ruling that allows Bryant Park Corporation to move forward with evicting the restaurant’s longtime operator, Ark Restaurants, while related litigation continues. The coverage also explores plans for a future dining concept at the iconic Bryant Park location and the possibility of further appeals.

In the Crain’s article, Gil discusses the next steps following the court’s ruling, noting that while Bryant Park Corporation could pursue eviction through a city marshal, the preference remains to reach an amicable resolution. “We can work it out, we would try to work it out,” Gil said.

“We are very happy with the decision,” Gil told the New York Post following the court’s ruling in favor of Bryant Park Corporation.
