Loeb & Loeb represented Uber Technologies Inc., a global mobility platform that connects riders, drivers, couriers and partners with technology, in the expansion of its New York City offices at 3 World Trade Center in Manhattan’s Financial District through recent transactions.

To support its rapidly growing New York workforce with now more than 2,000 employees, Uber has increased its presence in the building from the initial leasing of 7 floors, constituting 307,970 rentable square feet to 12 floors, totaling 525,000 rentable square feet. The recent transactions include a two floor expansion amendment with the owner of 3 World Trade Center and a two floor sublease.

The Loeb team was led by Real Estate partner Peter Strauss and included Real Estate associate Ashley Ravins, who assisted with the lease expansion, and associate Mateo Rendon, who assisted with the sublease.
