Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Alexander Nestor to its San Francisco office, where he joins the firm’s global Employment & Labor practice.
“Alex is a veteran litigator with decades of experience representing employers in complex and high-stakes employment disputes,” said Michelle La Mar, chair of Loeb’s Employment & Labor department. “His arrival not only deepens our global bench but also enhances the value we bring to clients in the region and beyond.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Nestor represents employers on individual, multi-party and class action employment litigation matters in state and federal court, arbitration and before administrative agencies. He has managed a broad range of cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, defamation, wage and hour, employee raiding, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition claims. He also advises on compliance issues involving state and federal employment laws, the development of effective employee policies and procedures, and various employment agreements.
“Loeb & Loeb is widely recognized for its sophisticated handling of complex class action and representative actions across California and beyond,” said Nestor. “The firm provides an ideal platform for me to continue delivering exceptional results in high-stakes litigation and key employment counseling matters.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Alex to our San Francisco office and to expand the scope of services we can provide to our clients in the Bay Area and across Northern California,” said Nicole Webb, a partner in Loeb’s San Francisco office.
Nestor earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, an M.A. in Political Science & International Relations from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Political Science from York University (Toronto). He joins Loeb & Loeb LLP from Allen Matkins.
