Loeb & Loeb Continues To Grow In New York With The Addition Of Two Attorneys Focused On Corporate And Tax

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the anticipated arrival of partners Michael Weinstein and Joshua Saidlower to the New York office, where they will join the Capital Markets & Corporate department. Weinstein and Saidlower focus on a broad range of domestic and international matters, including tax counseling, mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions.

“Michael and Joshua bring decades of experience with a wide range of corporate and tax matters, which adds to our strength to advise our clients on both domestic and cross-border transactions,” said Lloyd Rothenberg co-chair, Capital Markets & Corporate department. “With how much we have grown recently, Michael and Joshua’s joining couldn’t have come at a better time.”

Weinstein handles U.S. federal and international tax aspects of complex business transactions including taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate restructurings, business formations and financings, and structuring inbound and outbound investments. In addition, he regularly advises clients on the income tax aspects relating to limited liability companies, limited partnerships, Subchapter S corporations, and real estate investments and dispositions.

Saidlower advises private equity firms, strategic investors, portfolio companies, lenders and other businesses in connection with a variety of corporate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, credit facilities, co-investments and general operations.

Weinstein and Saidlower will join the firm from Morrison Cohen. They follow Andrew Arsiotis, Stephen Budow, Henry Zangara, Michael Martell and Matthew Friedman, Steven Rockoff and Michael Barry who also joined Loeb & Loeb from Morrison Cohen in March. 

Weinstein earned his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, and his J.D. and LL.M. (Tax) from New York University School of Law. Saidlower earned his B.A. from City University of New York, Queens College, and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
