Loeb Capital Markets & Corporate partners Alex Weniger-Araujo and Mitch Nussbaum are highlighted in The American Lawyer’s weekly roundup of deals for advising Nubia Brand International, a blank-check company focused on the wireless telecommunications sector, in its forthcoming $100 million IPO. The Dallas-based company filed with the SEC on November 16 and applied to list its shares on Nasdaq.
In addition, Mitch and partner David Levine are mentioned in a recent Law360 article for representing underwriter EarlyBirdCapital in connection with the $240 million IPO of Legato Merger II, a SPAC targeting infrastructure, energy and related industries. The offering priced on November 22 and sold 24 million units at $10 each, up from its original plans to sell 20 million units.
