Deal Watch: Week of October 4

Loeb & Loeb Capital Markets & Corporate partners Mitch Nussbaum and Giovanni Caruso are highlighted in The American Lawyer’s weekly roundup of deals for advising Verity Acquisition, a blank-check company with a focus on the health care sector, in its forthcoming $175 million IPO, which filed with the SEC on October 1, 2021, and applied to list its shares on the NASDAQ. 

Mitch and Giovanni are also mentioned as representing blank-check company OPY Acquisition, which is focused on novel therapeutics, medical devices and services that improve health care outcomes within the life sciences industry, in its $100 million IPO. OPY filed with the SEC on October 8 and plans to list its shares on NASDAQ. Additionally, Mitch and Giovanni are highlighted for representing Mountain Crest Acquisition, a consumer sector-focused SPAC, in its forthcoming $50 million IPO, which applied to list its shares on NASDAQ and filed with the SEC on October 7.
