Loeb Represents Virtual Fitting Room Company Zeekit in Sale to Walmart

Loeb & Loeb served as US counsel to Zeekit, a company that combines fashion and technology through its virtual fitting room platform, in its sale to Walmart, the world’s largest retailer.

Zeekit’s technology will create an inclusive, immersive and personalized shopping experience for Walmart customers. Shoppers will be able to upload their photo onto Walmart’s website and instantly see themselves in any item of clothing, mimicking the experience of trying on clothes in a store. The transaction will aid Walmart in expanding its presence in online fashion.

The Loeb team that facilitated the transaction included chairman Kenneth Florin; corporate partners Lloyd Rothenberg, Robert Barry and Ann Chen, senior counsel Megan Stombock; tax partner Shahrooz Shahnavaz; intellectual property partner William Voller III; employee benefits partner Marina Casani, and employment partner Sarina Saluja.

Media coverage on this transaction has been seen on CNBC, among other media outlets.
