LOS ANGELES (July 24, 2017) – Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that prominent trial lawyer Rodney C. Lee has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the Trusts and Estates Department. Mr. Lee brings nearly 20 years of experience handling private wealth and general business disputes for clients ranging from high net worth individuals to entrepreneurs and startup companies.
“We are delighted to have Rodney on board,” said Gabrielle A. Vidal, co-chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Trust and Estate Litigation Practice. “He has built an excellent reputation, not only for outstanding trial results but also for his ability to serve his clients’ diverse legal needs – from navigating delicate family and interpersonal conflicts to managing complex business disputes.”
“Rodney is a terrific addition to an already strong litigation practice,” added Trust and Estate Litigation Practice co-chair David C. Nelson. “He will be a tremendous resource to our private clients, as well as many others that the firm serves.”
Mr. Lee concentrates on estate, trust and fiduciary litigation, including disputes involving issues of undue influence, lack of capacity, breach of fiduciary duty, and elder abuse. He also has extensive experience advising clients on the removal of personal representatives and trustees.
Many of Mr. Lee’s high net worth clients are business owners who also rely on him for outside general counsel services ranging from employment issues to commercial real estate matters to everyday contract disputes. In this role, he is able to solve problems strategically and minimize the impact of litigation.
“Our best in class trusts and estates practice is one of the flagship service offerings of Loeb & Loeb,” said firm Chairman Michael D. Beck. “Rodney’s decision to join us underscores our commitment to continually strengthening this core working group with market leading talent.”
Mr. Lee commented: “Loeb is the complete package as far as my practice is concerned – one of the country’s top legal brands in trust and estate planning, litigation and tax controversy, with a diverse and complementary business litigation and corporate platform that will offer a range of resources for my clients.”
Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Mr. Lee was a partner at Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP. He earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
