Loeb & Loeb recently negotiated a five-year partnership between client and premier snowboard manufacturer The Burton Corporation and Action Sports Inc. dba Go211.com, a new extreme sports portal created by and for action sports athletes and enthusiasts. The deal was specifically limited to Go211’s involvement in the sponsorship and live webcasting of Burton's premiere snowboarding events, the Burton Global Open Series (BGOS). In the deal, Burton designated Go211 as the exclusive live webcaster of the BGOS and conferred global sponsorship benefits on Go211. Go211 was also given rights to create exclusive camera angles as part of the webcast. In addition, the deal conveys web responsibilities to Go211 to develop and host microsites for the BGOS events, permitting Go211 to sell advertising on these microsites and the Internet.
