Mobile marketing, banking and commerce are increasingly integral to businesses as tools connecting them to their customers. But questions remain about how these activities are regulated and, of course, privacy remains a key concern.  

This webinar, presented by Kenneth Florin, partner and co-chair of Loeb's Advanced Media and Technology Department and chair of its Emerging Media Practice Group, will provide an update on mobile marketing, including text messages and geo-location promotions. Presenters will also give an overview of mobile payment technology, including who the major players are and how this technology works, and will address the most recent developments in the privacy and data security area as Congress and regulators continue to scrutinize data collection practices relating to mobile apps and mobile devices.

This 60-minute webinar will provide up to (1.0) hour of credit in the area of Professional Practice (NY) and up to (1.0) hour of credit in the area of General (CA and IL). You must be logged in for the entire webinar to receive credit; partial credit will not be granted. There is no charge to participate, but registration is required to obtain webinar login details. CLE certificates will be sent to eligible attendees within 30 days of the webinar.
