3:00 PM to 3:45 PM - Governance and SLA Best Practices in the Multi-Vendor Cloud

With opportunity comes risk, and cloud computing is no exception. Cloud computing can improve flexibility, accessibility, and deployment speed, but it also necessitates changes to governance processes, especially in a multi-vendor environment. Cloud service level agreements (SLA) differ from traditional SLA since they require clauses covering new methods of calculating system downtime and service credits related to ‘Pay as You Go’ agreements. To achieve their outsourcing objectives, financial services firms must scrutinize their SLAs to the minutest detail. During this session, panelists will discuss strategies for risk management in a multi-sourcing cloud environment and provide best practices for monitoring and measuring performance and validating contract compliance.
