New Prop 65 Warning Requirements Are Coming On Aug. 30 – Are You Ready?

The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, or “Proposition 65”, has new requirements that will go into effect on August 30, 2018. The regulation requires entities doing business in California to provide warnings to consumers about possible exposure to specific chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. The new requirements provide additional guidelines for how the chemical warnings should be delivered. Businesses should take necessary precautions to ensure that they are prepared for the regulation update.
