Represented Chip and Joanna Gaines in connection with the HGTV series “Fixer Upper,” a joint venture with Meredith Corporation to launch the lifestyle magazine “The Magnolia Journal,” a seven (7) book publishing deal with HarperCollins, and a product and licensing agreement with Target for a co-branded label featuring home improvement, kitchen, office and outdoor products.
Loeb & Loeb represented Chip and Joanna Gaines, home renovation and design business owners and reality television stars, in connection with their new Meredith Corporation lifestyle magazine “The Magnolia Journal.” The quarterly magazine launched in October 2016 and expands on the couple’s popular Magnolia brand which includes the Magnolia Market store and website, Magnolia Home partnerships involving furniture, paint, textiles and other home goods, and the Magnolia House vacation rental.
Loeb & Loeb also provided ongoing counsel for the couple’s growing empire, including the multi-year talent and licensing agreement for their hit show “Fixer Upper” on HGTV, and various lines of products and services.
