概述
Tabetha Peavey focuses her private client practice on U.S. and non-U.S. tax planning for high net worth individuals and families. Her practice extends to all facets of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and encompasses multijurisdictional and international matters.
With a comprehensive approach to wealth management, she advises clients on complex trust and estate management, tax matters and high-value wealth transfers. She also counsels clients on non-tax aspects of estate planning and administration, wealth transfer planning, family business succession, charitable giving and planning for incapacity.
Before joining the firm, Tabetha served as an attorney in the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she worked closely with senior Internal Revenue Service officials on tax regulations, revenue rulings and other tax guidance. She also drafted and developed the department’s legislative program and revenue proposals regarding estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, as well as advised policymakers on the implementation or modification of information reporting regimes with respect to trusts and estates.
