Rebecca Lee Katz maintains a broad real estate practice, representing high net worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, lenders, developers and borrowers in a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, construction, leasing, financing and joint ventures. She has worked across sectors within residential and commercial real estate, including multifamily housing, luxury properties, office, hotel, industrial and retail. She has advised on complex land use matters for local government agencies and developers alike. Rebecca is an active contributor to Loeb’s Luxury Law Group and she also leverages her experience prior to law practice with Middle Eastern international nonprofit organizations to support Loeb’s Nonprofits & Tax Exempt Organizations Group.

During law school, Rebecca served as an executive director at the Friends of the Public-Private Partnership for Justice Reform in Afghanistan (FPJRA), a nonprofit organization providing legal training programs, scholarships and other support to the legal profession and the rule of law in Afghanistan. In addition, she has previously worked in international development in the Middle East, practicing her Arabic and French language skills.

Rebecca has a strong background in community service, in addition to having worked for human rights and nonprofit organizations, she also volunteered for a local domestic violence organization and is active in the pro bono arena.
