Partner Jason Lilien Recognized in City & State New York's 2023 Law Power 100 List

Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce that, for the fourth consecutive year, partner Jason Lilien, co-chair of the firm's Nonprofits & Tax-Exempt Organizations practice, has been named to City & State New York's 2023 Law Power 100 list. The publication’s annual recognition honors the most influential New Yorkers in the legal profession. Jason is featured among the state’s most prominent lawyers, judges, lawmakers, prosecutors and others who stand out in the legal field in New York.

In an accompanying profile, Jason is recognized for his national practice advising major nonprofit organizations, which include preeminent charities, cultural institutions, family and corporate foundations, universities, hospitals and corporate philanthropies. His broad-based practice encompasses corporate governance, corporate transactions, internal and governmental investigations, charitable giving, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution, among others. Jason is noted for previously serving as head of the New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau, where he oversaw New York’s 100,000 nonprofits and was the principal author of New York’s Nonprofit Revitalization Act of 2013. He was also instrumental in the formation of the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and served as counsel for both organizations.
