Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce that former California Governor and Loeb Of Counsel Gray Davis will serve on Los Angeles mayor-elect Karen Bass' transition advisory team. The consortium of individuals will advise Bass through the first 100 days of her administration.

According to an article published by the Los Angeles Daily News, Bass, who will be sworn in as the 43rd Mayor of Los Angeles on December 11, appointed a total of 103 individuals to the advisory committee. Members come from both the public and private sectors and work in the business, education and nonprofit industries, as well as include civic and religious leaders.

“The team is composed of a broad cross-section of Los Angeles leaders and experts who will also help lay the foundation for long-term success by identifying the best possible talent for positions in the Mayor’s Office, City departments and on the City’s 49 Boards and Commissions,” the Office of the Mayor-elect said in a press release.
