Film/TV Sets Under Strain: Is the COVID-19 Safety Status Quo Good Enough?

Loeb Entertainment associate Dimitry Krol is quoted in an article published by The Hollywood Reporter (THR) discussing whether the current COVID-19 safety rules established by the industry guilds and studios are rigorous enough throughout sets and entertainment workplaces. Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has blocked the federal vaccine-or-test mandate, the pressure to implement a similar requirement has been placed in the hands of the guilds and studios.

“One of the problems is that everyone wanted a bright-line rule to ensure a safe workforce, and now it’s going to depend [on employer vaccine mandates and testing requirements],” Dimitry told THR.
