Former California Governor and Loeb Of Counsel Gray Davis spoke to CNN in its latest podcast “Total Recall: California's Political Circus” about the recent September 2021 recall election of current California Governor Gavin Newsom.
In the podcast, the narrator noted that gubernatorial recalls in the state of California tend to be as “Californian as avocados, earthquakes and plastic surgery.”
“If you don’t like that, don’t run for office in California,” Davis said in the podcast. “Because [recalls] are just part of the territory.”
