The swift responses from her sponsors have signaled a zero tolerance era for athletes involved in doping and corruption scandals. Loeb & Loeb partner Brian Socolow is quoted by Reuters saying Sharapova may have an opportunity to win back sponsors. “She has the chance, like other athletes, to redeem herself and regain her leadership position as an endorser,” he said.
