Loeb & Loeb Admits Five New Partners

Loeb & Loeb LLP is pleased to announce that five attorneys from its New York and Los Angeles offices were elected to the firm's partnership, effective July 1, 2008. The new partners are Marla Aspinwall, Giovanni Caruso, Linda Deitch, Mark Goldberg, and Tahra Wright.

Marla Aspinwall – Los Angeles
Marla Aspinwall specializes in the tax, ERISA, labor and securities aspects of executive compensation, including employment agreements; nonqualified deferred compensation; and equity, retirement, incentive and welfare benefit plans. She also has unique expertise in the tax and corporate aspects of agricultural cooperatives. Ms. Aspinwall received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law in 1984, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and Southern California Law Review.

Giovanni Caruso – New York
Giovanni Caruso represents public and private companies in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including general corporate governance, private placements, mergers and acquisitions and federal law compliance in connection to the Securities Act and Exchange Act and Sarbanes-Oxley, as well as the various exchanges (NASDAQ, NYSE and the American Stock Exchange). Mr. Caruso also regularly represents issuers and underwriters in SPAC offerings. Mr. Caruso received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2000, magna cum laude and was Articles Editor, New York Law School Law Review.

Linda N. Deitch – Los Angeles
Linda Deitch's practice focuses on estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses, the representation of fiduciaries, and the administration of estates and trusts. She also has experience in the area of charitable giving and tax exempt organizations. Ms. Deitch has been recognized from 2006 to 2008 as a Southern California “Rising Star” in a survey conducted by Law & Politics Media Inc. and published in Los Angeles Magazine. Ms. Deitch received her J.D. from University of California at Los Angeles School of Law in 2000, Order of the Coif, and was Chief Managing Editor, UCLA Law Review.

Mark Goldberg – New York
Mark J. Goldberg’s primary area of practice is employment law, in connection with which he represents clients in proceedings before administrative, arbitral, local, state, and federal forums and counsels management on all aspects of employment relations. Mr. Goldberg received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1992.

Tahra T. Wright – New York
Tahra Wright's practice focuses primarily on representing public companies with respect to securities and corporate law matters. She has experience representing companies in connection with private and public offerings of securities, PIPES and reverse mergers. Ms. Wright also assists clients with registration statements, reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and corporate governance issues, as well as compliance with the requirements of various exchanges, including NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX. Ms. Wright received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1999.
