Loeb & Loeb Advised Worldwide Biggies in a $9 million Series A Financing Round

Digital entertainment studio Worldwide Biggies Inc., headed by former Nickelodeon and Spike TV President Albie Hecht, announced today that it has closed a $9 million Series A financing round. The initial round was co-led by NBC Universal and Platform Equity with significant participation from Hearst Corporation, Alan Patricof's Greycroft Partners and Prism VentureWorks. Worldwide Biggies specializes in creating innovative broadband experiences for kids, young adults and families, ranging from community games and webisode series, to a new breed of gaming called gametoons. The Company is represented by Lloyd Rothenberg of Loeb & Loeb, which has been the Company's counsel since its formation stage.
