Entering the Marketplace: Public & Private Product Regulation at Home and Abroad - Product Marketing

Loeb & Loeb LLP is pleased to announce that partner David G. Mallen will be speaking on this CLE webinar.

From the event website:

This webinar will examine product marketing laws and policies, including green claims, administered by EPA, FTC, and states under consumer protection laws, such as FIFRA. The recent spate of FTC enforcement actions focusing on “free-of” claims and independent certification qualifications under the Green Guides demonstrate the FTC is determined to ensure the Green Guides do more that generate controversy. Similarly, state consumer protection agencies are far more determined today to interpret state laws designed to prevent false and misleading advertising broadly and achieve a marketplace that is free of a wide variety of claims that some think go beyond their intended purpose. This last webinar will explore the utility, impact, and growing enforcement consequences of product marketing laws and policies.
