The Corporate Counsel Section of the New York State Bar Association announces its Second Corporate Counsel Institute. The Institute, designed as a comprehensive two-day program covering a multitude of topics of particular interest to corporate counsel, will be combined with the Section’s popular annual Ethics for Corporate Counsel program. Day One will be devoted to five separate plenary sessions. On day one the included lunch will allow you to meet and network with your fellow attendees. Day Two will begin with Ethics for Corporate Counsel in the morning, followed by a luncheon featuring legal humorist Sean Carter, who will present his entertaining views on “Stress Management for Inside Counsel.” After lunch, various breakout workshops on subjects related to the plenary sessions, plus additional topics, will comprise the balance of the afternoon.
Loeb & Loeb Partner Barry Slotnick, who has litigated many trademark and copyright cases, will discuss Intellectual Property and some of the issues that corporate counsel must deal with in this area. Mr. Slotnick will be speaking on:
- Thursday, October 11th at 4:00pm
- Friday, October 12th at 3:45pm
