Loeb & Loeb’s Capital Markets Department created a first-of-its-kind “dividend yield” SPAC for client Seanergy Maritime Corp. The innovative deal structure and sophisticated tax work allow this SPAC to generate better returns for shareholders. Investors in Seanergy’s initial public offering generated $231 million, which was deposited into a trust account that will pay the company’s public shareholders a quarterly dividend while their money is held in the trust.
