Paramount Pictures v. Carol Publishing

Litigated copyright and trademark infringement action for Paramount Pictures against publisher of an unauthorized book titled "The Joy of Trek" which claimed to be a parody fair use of Paramount's "Star Trek" TV series and motion pictures.  Obtained preliminary injunction against distribution of the book after a five-day evidentiary hearing.  Case was thereafter settled favorably for client.
