Represented the independent directors of Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, a Nevada-based radio broadcast company, in its sale to Cumulus Media, a leading owner and operator of radio stations in the United States, for approximately $2.1 billion. The transaction, which was recognized by The Deal magazine as one of the 2011 M&A Deals of the Year, makes Cumulus Media the largest pure-play radio broadcaster in the nation. Citadel now operates as an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Cumulus.
