Loeb & Loeb partner Gregory Schwed is named as counsel for good-faith customers of Bernard Madoff in connection with the decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to block efforts by the trustee overseeing the Madoff bankruptcy matter to claw back profits from Madoff customers earned several years before the massive Ponzi scheme collapsed. The ruling wipes out $1.6 billion in clawback claims against about 1,600 Madoff customers.
