He represents national financial institutions, California lenders and court-appointed receivers in, among other matters, actions involving the exercise of loan remedies, workouts of troubled loans and actions for foreclosure upon loan collateral. Benjamin also represents assignees for the benefit of creditors, as well as creditors themselves, in matters involving insolvency and creditors rights. He litigates financial matters in and out of bankruptcy, including lender liability actions, real-estate loan disputes, general contract and promissory note actions, judicial foreclosures, receiverships, fraudulent conveyances, adversary proceedings (including preference actions), non-dischargeability actions, and a variety of business tort disputes.

In addition, Benjamin has particular experience assisting firm clients in compliance and litigation matters concerning the accessibility of electronic information (including websites and mobile device applications) to persons with disabilities in compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Benjamin is the current chair of the California Receivers Forum, and a long-time member of the executive committee of the Remedies Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.  He is a frequent speaker and moderator at seminars concerning pre- and post-judgment remedies, judgment enforcement and restructuring matters.
