NNeil Nandi represents clients in a variety of dispute settings, with particular experience in contract litigation, antitrust cases, and fraud investigations, including False Claims Act suits.
Neil has represented closely-held corporations and Fortune 100 companies in a range of disputes, including commercial litigation, internal investigations, and government investigations. In corporate contract disputes alone, he has successfully argued dispositive motions, taken depositions, drafted complaints, and managed document discovery. He understands the importance of tailoring a litigation strategy to the client’s goals and to the needs of the specific case, and he is experienced at steering various types of cases toward successful resolutions.
Additionally, he has led the response to civil investigative demands and other government inquiries. Neil has also represented clients in criminal investigations into allegations such as public corruption, antitrust violations, and fraud.
Neil maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included drafting amicus briefs in immigration matters and first-chairing an arbitration hearing in a lease dispute. He is also a member of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Junior Board.
Prior to joining Loeb, Neil practiced at a large international law firm where he advised hospitals, pharmacies, manufacturers, medical technology companies, wholesalers and other healthcare entities in disputes, on compliance with antitrust and healthcare laws and on contracting and transactional diligence.
During law school, Neil worked in the Civil Division, Fraud Section, of the United States Department of Justice and in the Cyber Crime Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts. After graduating, he clerked for Judge James B. Loken of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
