Dominick DiSabatino counsels life sciences companies in making business decisions, informed by experience navigating global, federal and state laws and applying industry-specific best practices. He works with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics and medical device companies on matters spanning the entire product life cycle, from research and development to product launches, vendor negotiation and contracting, brand strategy and compliance program monitoring and training. His experience also draws from secondment activities serving as in-house counsel.

Dominick’s experience spans industry-critical regulatory and compliance concerns, including interactions with health care providers and patients, advertising and promotion, privacy matters, and anti-kickback, anti-bribery and anti-corruption. He also advises life sciences clients on matters concerning the Global Data Protection Regulation; Prescription Drug Marketing Act compliance; Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; transparency reporting and disclosures; labeling, advertising, promotion and scientific review; post-market adverse event and product complaint reporting; recalls, prohibitions, warning letters and Form 483s; environmental hazard regulations; and corporate due diligence. With his background in intellectual property law, Dominick also counsels clients on issues related to patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.

Dominick is dedicated to industry education, serving as co-chair of MedTech Metro’s Regulatory Affairs/Quality Systems Group, teaching CLE courses, authoring informative publications and speaking at public events and conferences.

Health care today resides at the touchpoint of medicine, technology and law. This reality presents tough questions that require not only an understanding of the laws that regulate the industry but also the underlying technology itself.

He is also committed to pro bono service. Dominick has counseled nonprofit organizations focused on health care integration and optimization, represented New York City’s senior citizens in housing disputes, and provided First Amendment advice for press operations in Africa.
