David Ansel focuses his practice on middle-market mergers and acquisitions for private equity funds and strategic buyers and sellers. He represents private equity funds in co-investments, and real estate companies and other businesses across various industries relating to joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies, corporate finance and general corporate matters.
Committed to finding solutions that enhance business, environmental and social impacts, David has a long-standing interest in environmental law and policy. He clerked in the Environmental Civil Enforcement Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office and served as a member of the Sub-Committee for Environmental Law of the New York City Bar Association. He is a Trustee for the Waterkeeper Alliance and served as a member of the board of Hudson Riverkeeper.
David has held several leadership positions at Loeb & Loeb, including co-chair of the Corporate Department, chair of the Knowledge Management Committee and chair of the firm's Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Task Force.
