Loeb & Loeb partner Daniel Besikof has been appointed as co-chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Business Reorganization Committee. He will serve a two-year term through March 2020.
The ABI is the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals, made up of over 12,000 members in multi-disciplinary roles, including attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants and others. Founded in 1982, ABI plays a leading role in providing congressional leaders and the general public with non-partisan reporting and analysis of bankruptcy regulations, laws and trends.
Besikof has been very active with the ABI for a number of years, serving as the Reorganization Committee’s education director as well as the special projects coordinator. He is a member of Loeb & Loeb’s national Bankruptcy Department, where his practice focuses on chapter 11 proceedings, corporate restructurings and liquidations, and bankruptcy-related litigation.
