Presenting Companies:

Degreecast helps prospective college students find all their degree program options in one comprehensive search experience. The search engine crawls the web collecting information on as many relevant programs as possible and returns organized and filterable results. In just a few clicks, users can be reading about relevant program options directly from college and university websites. It’s as easy as searching for a job on Indeed.com or a real estate listing on Zillow.com.

Open Assembly is a plug-and-play platform providing a simple, intuitive toolkit for educators to assemble digital curricula and content: to remix collections or create their own; select granular content from textbooks and articles; add rich media; combine it all into a CoursePilot™ (interactive course player); and deliver it to students on any device—all as easily as an iTunes playlist.

Open Assembly is developing a robust e-learning platform for the college market that radically lowers course material costs-- while leveraging the potential of digital and networked media to facilitate social learning. Key to our solution are Open Educational Resources - which enables the affordability, sharing, and remixing of digital media on our platform - as well as channel partnerships with publishers.
