- The DIYer’s Guide to Building Consensus among Stakeholders After a Data Breach

In this interactive session, you will receive a breach fact pattern from a fictional Fortune 500 company that is slowly disclosed over the session, during which you’ll decide at multiple points what happens next, and our expert panel will build out the various choices for each section. Working in groups representing the key stakeholders in a breach (e.g., regulator, consumer, vendor, media, “data owner,” legal, compliance), you’ll work to achieve consensus on next steps, and the other key stakeholder groups will respond to your decisions. Additionally, the panel will discuss their experiences and the ramifications of the groups’ choices. To facilitate decision-making and polling, we will use an audience response system and innovative information dissemination in multiple formats, including video, audio and graphics. Even the panel cannot predict the outcome, as the attendees are the drivers in this dynamic educational experience.
