Loeb & Loeb LLP attorney Brian Socolow represented Promotion Sports, Inc. in the sale of the Acura Classic, a Tier I women's professional tennis tournament, to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. The Acura Classic, which has been held at the La Costa Resort and Spa for the last 16 years, is the only Tier I tournament in the U.S. between the French Open and the end of the year and attracts the top players in the world. Promotion Sports, Inc., which began its ownership of the tournament in 1984, is a private corporation headquartered in Carlsbad, California and is dedicated to promoting sports and women's tennis worldwide.
