Ryan Court maintains a broad trusts and estates practice, advising high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and multigenerational family offices on all aspects of estate planning and administration, wealth preservation, intergenerational wealth transfers, charitable giving and related tax matters. Clients consistently turn to Ryan for clear, practical guidance on complex legal, tax and fiduciary matters, enabling them to make informed decisions with confidence.

Ryan advises family offices and the families behind them on a wide range of estate planning, trust administration and wealth transfer matters, including the creation, management and succession planning of dynasty trusts designed to preserve family wealth across generations. He also regularly guides fiduciaries and beneficiaries through all aspects of the estate and trust administration process and the resolution of related tax and fiduciary matters.

Ryan also counsels high net worth individuals with respect to the estate planning implications of divorce. Working closely with clients' matrimonial counsel, he helps evaluate, restructure and revise existing estate plans and irrevocable trusts to align with changing personal and financial circumstances while protecting long-term wealth planning objectives and ensuring optimal tax results.

In addition, Ryan has extensive experience counseling clients on complex charitable planning and giving strategies, including the structuring of large charitable gifts, formation and administration of private foundations and advising public charities with respect to tax-exempt organization, nonprofit governance and related legal matters.
