Loeb & Loeb Provides Pro Bono Counsel to the Estate of Debbie Friedman

Loeb & Loeb provided pro bono counsel to the executor of the will of Debbie Friedman and trustee of the Deborah Lynn Friedman Trust in connection with the administration of the estate and trust of the late Jewish singer-songwriter Debbie Friedman for whom the cantorial school at Hebrew Union College is named. The Loeb & Loeb team successfully secured probate court approval of a creative arrangement that allowed the decedent’s heirs to remain in their family home, while also providing for several charities identified in Debbie Friedman’s estate plan in order to preserve her legacy in perpetuity.
