Guild and Union Issues Involving the Online Launch of Popular Soap Operas

Represented Prospect Park in negotiations with the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the Directors Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America in connection with the online launch of cancelled ABC soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live on Prospect Park’s new Web channel, The Online Network. These were groundbreaking deals with the guilds, which were concerned about making favorable contracts under their New Media Agreements for programs that had been on traditional television for decades.
