Daniel Silverman maintains a diverse entertainment practice covering a wide range of transactions in the music industry as well as the film, television and new media sectors. He regularly negotiates and drafts agreements in areas of music recording, publishing, content distribution and licensing, brand partnerships, merchandise, talent management, live performance, video production, and content development.
Having previously worked in the music industry prior to his legal career, both as an artist and business owner, Daniel is able to utilize his insight from the music business towards counseling his clients and ensuring their unique interests are furthered when negotiating, drafting, and reviewing their contracts.
Beyond his entertainment focus, Daniel assists various companies, investors, and entrepreneurs with the formation, planning, and organization of new business entities. He has also procured numerous out-of-court settlements for clients based on right of publicity violations, defamation, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and breach of contract claims.
