Adam Shapiro maintains a transactional practice focused on the preparation and negotiation of media, advertising, technology, data privacy and promotion-related agreements. Adam has significant experience counseling clients on sponsorships, advertising, mobile and digital marketing, social media, privacy and data optimization, intellectual property and brand integration. Adam also advises clients in connection with joint ventures, broad corporate transactions and general corporate matters. Adam works with clients in a variety of industries, including media, technology, entertainment, sports, esports, consumer products, automotive and mobility.
Prior to law school, Adam worked as a media buyer for national broadcast television advertising. His clients included high-profile hospitality, gaming and transportation companies.
In addition to his transactional work, Adam maintains an active pro bono practice. His work includes representing a client who was defrauded out of her home, helping an unaccompanied minor obtain asylum after escaping gang-violence in El Salvador, and filing an appeal on behalf of a veteran seeking to obtain medical benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs.
