Overview

Stephanie Schmalz focuses her practice on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance and joint ventures. Her experience includes participating in negotiations regarding purchase agreements and transaction structures, leading the due diligence process and preparing reports for clients. She also has experience representing both the buyer-side and seller-side in business formations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships. 

Additionally, Stephanie has construction and land use experience that includes counseling all parties involved on complex projects in various industries, drafting and negotiating contracts and providing risk management counselling, as well as advising design and construction firms on licensing compliance.
