Alaa Salaheldin advises clients on a broad range of data privacy and cybersecurity matters, including under federal, state and international privacy and cybersecurity laws. She regularly assists clients in meeting their compliance obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection laws.
Alaa counsels clients on cyber incident response, crisis management, internal and government investigations, and technology-related litigation. She also drafts legal memoranda, briefs, privacy policies and federal agency comments, as well as reviews contractual agreements for data use limitations.
