Alexandra Kitson focuses her practice on FDA regulatory matters, counseling clients in the food and drug, healthcare, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical device industries with respect to a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters.
Alexandra regularly supports clients in the food and drug industries with respect to Food and Drug Administration regulatory and compliance issues, as well as compliance issues at the state level and regulatory due diligence in transactions.
She also has experience counseling clients with respect to state licensure issues, government and internal investigations and audits, self-disclosures, state and federal fraud and abuse issues, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement compliance.
Prior to practicing law, Alexandra was a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Dave Loebsack, where she met with constituents and advocacy groups, drafted speeches, and researched and analyzed legislation on various topics. She also previously worked for Congressman Loebsack as a District Representative in his Iowa office.
During law school, Alexandra spent a semester as a legal intern for the Library of Congress, Office of the General Counsel in Washington, D.C, where she worked on legal and policy matters concerning government contracts, copyright law, privacy, employment law, ethics, and administrative law. She also gained experience as a legal intern with the National Partnership for Women & Families in their workplace policy division.
