Overview

Ryan Gallagher focuses his practice on a broad range of data privacy and security matters, including under state, federal and international privacy and cybersecurity laws. Combining his knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape with his technical knowledge, Ryan has extensive experience counseling clients through cybersecurity incidents and resulting internal and government investigations. Ryan also works with clients to develop practical solutions for the collection, use and transfer of information and advises clients on their legal requirements, as well as those stemming from ethical and contractual obligations, regulatory compliance and crisis management.

Earlier in his career, Ryan served as a Supervisory Agent with the U.S. Navy Criminal Investigation Division, where he led federal investigations as a military augmentee of the U.S. Justice and Defense departments.
