Overview

Mary Balzer is a commercial litigator focusing on copyright, trademark and other intellectual property disputes, with a particular emphasis on the entertainment industry. She has experience conducting legal research and discovery requests and assisting with the preparation of depositions, motions and briefs for copyright infringement cases on behalf of recording artists.

In addition to her litigation practice, Mary has drafted a variety of contracts and agreements in the film and television industries.

During law school, Mary served as a legal extern for the Honorable Deborah A. Batts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
