Loeb & Loeb Welcomes Trial Lawyer Jason Stiehl to Chicago Office, Enhances Nationwide Commercial Litigation and Class Action Defense Platform

CHICAGO (January 17, 2018)Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that trial lawyer Jason P. Stiehl has joined the Chicago office as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. Stiehl brings significant experience in multi-district class action defense and complex commercial disputes involving trade secrets and restrictive covenants, unfair competition, corporate espionage, contract and intellectual property claims. 

Stiehl has represented clients in numerous nationwide class action matters, including multi-district cases involving claims of consumer fraud and alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA) and state and federal antitrust laws. He has obtained and defended preliminary and permanent injunctions in several jurisdictions. At the appellate level, he has briefed and argued matters before several federal circuit courts as well as the Illinois Supreme Court. Stiehl works with clients in a wide range of industry sectors, including pharmaceutical and medical equipment, banking, manufacturing, advertising, real estate, technology, transportation and automotive, among others.

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Stiehl was a partner at Akerman LLP. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Trinity University and a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Tech.
